Day by Day

Princess (we discovered) throws up when she rides.  This is her insides on Katie and although I was driving, Connor was finding this quite humorous and took the opportunity to take Katie's pictures with throw up on her.  He is a true Brother.  Katie was screaming and wanting to get out of the car.  Just another day with the Reeds. I would say I missed posting to my blog, but I haven't really.  I don't know if I have been too busy to stop and reflect on life or too reflective to put it in writing.  I have been thinking a lot...thinking...thinking...over thinking...more over thinking....but now it is time to record some things so years from now I can trust on my old friend to remind me of moments I do not want to forget. Let's see....Dad ankle surgery...still on the mend...worrying about him, amazed at how strong he is still at 75..frustrated at times by the situation...sad for him living alone...happy that he is my Dad. new addition to the family....Princess-a female puggle.....cute as all can be....teasing Grady but playing too...like having another baby again...not such a bad thing....hard to train in a big house...getting loads of love and attention...overall good to share with our family...new life...responsibility...fun...frustration.. Keera does not give up and she is way ahead of her time.  She watched the movie Judy Moody again last night and decided she wanted to form a club this summer (just like Judy).  Everyone in the club had to complete dares (just like Judy).  Keera has created dare forms for all of her cousins-Reed side and Hogan side.  They all have dares ready to go and she has been relentlessly texting/calling Austin and Corbin so they will agree to belong to the club.  You know how certain cousins just click?  Well, I think Keera has found her clicking on Bob's side....Kasey, Jackie and Austin.  She likes all of her cousins, but the ones she clicks with are the ones who also have some of the same personality traits as she does.  Corbin gave her a yes, as soon as she called him.  That was too easy for her.  The challenge was Austin who is asking all kinds of questions about her "dare club".  Her last statement was, "Austin said he would text back b...

Yesterday Kelly and Nicki came over to play in the Hairry Strawberry Band with Keera and Connor.  They used a barbie guitar, a flute and Connor was the rapper.  Kelly and Nicki made a shirt for Keera that says, "Hairry Strawberry" and has a picture of a strawberry on it.  They created their own songs and sang for about a half an hour.  Then they all took off to Panera ("Mom, do you have any money?") for lunch and the pet store to take out a dog to pet.  I wished we had taped the Hairry Strawberry experience, but it will go down in the memory banks of all!

Katie had a dream last night that all of her cousins on the Reed side were playing a game and Travis was there.  He said he had to go.  He had wings and his spirit left the circle of cousins.  I was amazed that she had that dream.  I also wish I could dream of people who have passed away.  I have never even seen my own mother in a dream. 

rush, rush, buy, wrap, etc...been writing about it.... - my gift - a few from the family but the best one of all......cooking Christmas meal with Bob and the kids playing the game "trouble" five feet from me at the kitchen island.  The laughs, the frustrations, the comments, the competition.....my family-the best gift of all!!!!
