Make sure you are sitting down....I came home from grocery shopping and Brendan, 15 mind you, told me he had started the washer and done his own load of laundry. I was shocked and appreciative all at once. Wow-parenting is working to some degree...he didn't even ask for money!

Writing

Who would have thought it would feel so fulfilling to write a dissertation?  I cannot believe how into I get when I am working on it.  I don't know how it will all end, but so far, I am really excited to be doing it.  I just wish I had many more hours in the day to do things I like.
