Taking time to slow down

Although it doesn't feel like time to slow down with.....a.  Katie's sleepover of 4 girls and b.  Connor's sleepover of 2 boys and c. Connor's get together of like 20 kids above the garage and....forgetting to get Brendan up for school (he doesn't have the week off)...oh and let's not forget constantly trying to help Keera stay "not bored".....it is a time to slow down.

February vacation-sleeping a little later, going to bed a little later, listening intently to Keera reading after going to the library and getting excited about her 1st library card, laying in the sun in my upstairs picture window and reading, playing ping-pong, baking, bowling with only Keera and Bob, listening to the giddy and playful banter of Connor and Katie with her friends who slept over.....(okay, going down three times to tell them to be a little more quiet).  It is slowing down; it is not thinking; it is just being.

Do we have to go back to work?  I know...I would miss it if I didn't have it all of the time.
