Back to School

Hard to believe it, but we are back already.  The old neighborhood had a get together of all the kids, as we did many years ago when they were really young.  Most are off to college and some still in high school, except Keera.  It was fun to have everyone together, but bitter sweet also.  Where has the time gone?  To watch the friendships that had formed...some stayed, some strayed, some strong bonds, some loose....but all connections with people.  I have had mixed emotions of how I was the moving force of moving our family off of that road for a bigger house.  Parts of me are still very happy to have  moved on (sometimes as wonderful as it was, it was a bit clickish and I always seem to be on the outside of clicks-not much for me I guess).  Parts of me are sad that I am not sure what could have been if I had stayed there.  Then we came home to our garage that Bob is preparing to have Brendan live in and I am so glad we have a place for our kids to remain here for as long as they need.  It's kind of confusing and all a part of trying to be happy about new beginnings, but letting go of past securities.  Thank God for all of my blessings-past and present!
