Update

Golf....really like it....I hadn't golfed since the Spring of 2012.  In July, I decided it was time to pick it up again.  I went once a week with Dad and once with Bob (refer to post on that one).  Then I had to take two weeks off (school start up).  I was able to go this week again with Dad.  I am trying to get him out, so it kills two birds with one stone.  While it is one of the most frustrating things because I never know what I did when I have a good shot or what I did when I have a bad shot and yet I like the fact that on any given hit I can possibly have a good hit.  Anyway....will continue to improve, I expect because I am not giving it up.

Back to Zumba and Yoga....my other two favorites.  Now that things are settling down, I am trying to get back into a routine of doing my zumba and yoga a few times a week.

School start up - all went well.  Katie headed off in her car; Connor in his and Bob took Keera to the before Y program.  All good stuff.  We picked up a pretty cheap car for Katie but cheap cars have problems, so......it will be going to the shop this week to fix all of those problems.  It was working for a day and then the check engine light when on while Katie was driving it.  She said she thought she was going to die (so funny).  Of course, being youth, she wanted it fixed right away.   It was hard to explain it was Friday of labor day weekend and not many places were open Saturday.  We told her they have to hook a machine up to it to find out the code of what is wrong.  She immediately went online and found out that if you turn your key a certain way four times the codes come up.  We happened to get it in to a shop the next morning and sure enough, she had those two codes right; however, there were many more codes to be found and this place was charging way too much money, so we are off to our usual place this week.

Connor had his own car experience in the school parking lot-flat tire, but he changed it and got to town fair tire right away, paid for it and had it fixed.  I was impressed....not one call or text asking for help and I even offered through text.  In addition to that, he seems to be interested in a girl.  He is spending a lot of time over her house, etc.  She is a sophomore.  This is the first girl that he has spent a lot of time with in high school, other than friends.  Not sure if this will go anywhere, but for the first time in a long time, I am not seeing him around the house much between school, work and the girl....I miss him.  Plus he won't say a word to me or even answer my questions.  Uggghhhh.

As if that isn't enough, Brendan went camping in PA this weekend and we didn't hear a peep from him, until he came home tonight.

So you would think that would leave Keera, but even she is off in her own directions.  She doesn't want me outside when she rides her scooter now; she doesn't want me to play dolls with her or watch tv with her; she is probably going to get a different room in the house...she has slept on the couch since July because she doesn't want her room anymore.  I knew the time was coming; it is tucked away behind ours and it really is only a small office, so we are hiring someone to build her a room in the open space (where she now resides on the couch every night).  It is time and I am glad that she and we will have our space.

But......this brings me to my statements to Bob this weekend...."don't they realize I carried them for nine months each...7-9 pounds; gave birth to them; went to countless games and events; sewed on patches and went to dances; went trick or treating..,etc., etc.....is it too much just to ask for a little information and check in time."   Yes....it is.....I guess that will come back later on in life, but at least they are capable of flying out on their own for now.  I guess it gives me more time to golf, etc, etc..
